The Humber MK.II Armoured Car, British 8th army

The Humber MK.II Armoured Car, British 8th army
After the success of the “Normandy” version of this British Armoured Car we had quite a few requests to produce an 8th Army Humber... and here it is! This one has the normal ‘desert sand’ colour oversprayed with a ‘stone grey’ camouflage pattern. The vehicle includes a commander in the open turret hatch. Our model is in 7th Armoured Division, “The Desert Rats” markings. - See more at: http://www.kingandcountry.com/humber-mkii-armoured-british-eighth-army-p-10260.html#sthash.iVnvwx1d.dpuf

Double Trouble

Double Trouble
The men of the LRDG were definitely not “Parade Ground” soldiers. They included in their number many individualists who operated best in small unit operations. Here, an LRDG officer consults his map while his “dismounted” driver examines a captured MP40 “Schmeisser” machine pistol ... Their casual and comfortable style of mixed uniforms would give any Regimental Sergeant Major a heart attack!

Valentine MK III Tank

Valentine MK III Tank
The Valentine was the most produced of any British-designed tank during WW2. More than 8,000 were built in 11 different marks. They accounted for over one quarter of all British tank production between 1940 and 1944. In addition to serving with both British and Canadian army units large numbers were supplied to Soviet Russia under lend-lease... This is the first K&C Valentine (two more are planned) and is in the markings of the 1st. Army Tank Brigade, stationed in Tobruk, Libya in 1942. Our model “HECTOR” wears the unique “splinter” three-colour camouflage and comes with a vehicle commander.
