Miss Bowers

In the 1978 film, Dame Maggie Smith played the tall, chain-smoking and rather masculine figure of 'Miss Bowers'.
Here she is wearing a rather heavy, for Egypt, tweed tartan skirt together with a matching gray jacket and waistcoat and a pair of very sensitive brown and white walking shoes.
